Meet Our Staff

John has been in the Automotive industry since 1988 and joined our Ryan team in 2015, bringing with him years of success and experience in management. Married, with two children, John loves to hunt, fish, spend time on his boat and is also a youth hockey coach.

Mike joined our team in 2017 having spent 17 years in the automotive industry. He brings with him a wide range of experience in a variety of sales management roles. Living locally in St Michael, Mike really enjoys spending time in the great Minnesota outdoors, especially with his son and daughter or taking a very, very long walk with his golf clubs!

David joined our team in September 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the automotive industry. With a background in retail management, David has honed his skills in customer service and sales. In recent years, he has dedicated himself to the world of pre-owned vehicles, working as a dedicated car buyer for the past five years. As a member of our team, David is responsible for acquiring pre-owned vehicles from various sources, ensuring that our dealership group offers a diverse and high-quality selection. When he's not busy curating our inventory, David enjoys staying active through workouts, exploring investment opportunities, and spending quality time with friends and family. A passionate traveler, David also loves hitting the open road on exciting road trips.

Lisa started in the Automobile industry in 1987 and joined our Ryan team in 2007. She lives locally in Annandale and loves travelling and the great outdoors. Time at the cabin with her family and grandchildren is especially precious.

William Berry joined the Ryan Auto Mall CDJR Buffalo team as a Sales Consultant in April 2025. Eager to begin his journey in automotive sales, William brings a strong work ethic and a personable approach, shaped by over three years of experience working as an assistant in his family’s law offices. The second oldest of five siblings and a twin, William thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. Outside of work, he enjoys trail riding on horseback, exploring new and unique restaurants with friends, and taking long, scenic drives through the countryside. William is excited to help customers find the right vehicle and deliver a positive dealership experience.

Nate joined the Ryan Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram sales team in Buffalo, MN in November 2022. A local resident from nearby Waverly, Nate brings a strong background in customer service with prior experience in the restaurant industry and golf sales. His approachable demeanor and attention to detail help create a relaxed and informative buying experience for every guest. Outside of work, Nate enjoys cooking, golfing, and playing billiards.

Brandon joined our Ryan team in 2023, bringing with him a diverse background in insurance—both property & casualty and health—as well as experience in commercial flat roofing, specializing in estimating and service. A proud member of the Minnesota Army National Guard for over 22 years, Brandon recently returned from 131A Warrant Officer Basic Course and is currently serving at DIVARTY. We’re incredibly proud of his commitment and honored to have him on the team. Brandon lives in St. Michael with his wife and their five children. When he’s not working or spending time with his family, you’ll likely find him sneaking in a round of golf whenever time allows. His dedication, discipline, and positive attitude make him a valued part of the Ryan family!

Todd Rodenwald grew up on a dairy farm in central Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota , Morris. Todd taught elementary school in Eden Prairie for nine years before switching careers to sales. He sold real estate for several years and then entered the car business in 2009. He has been with Ryan Auto Mall since our Chrysler store opened in 2011.

Reece has been in the automobile industry since 2004 and joined our Ryan family in 2014. He and his wife have been married for over 30 years and have two older children. Away from work, Reece enjoys working out, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle along with his wife, and visiting with his daughters.

We're excited to welcome Adam to the Ryan Automotive family! Adam brings a decade of experience in the automotive industry, most recently from a local parts store in Delano. He's passionate about cars, disc golf, and cheering on the Vikings. Stop by to meet him and see how he can help you with your next automotive needs.

Patrick Wier is one of the newest members of the Ryan Auto Mall CDJR Buffalo sales team. Stepping into the automotive industry for the first time, Patrick brings a background in exterior restorations and a strong passion for helping people. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction make him a natural fit for our team. Originally from Texas, Patrick and his wife recently relocated from Colorado to Buffalo, MN, along with their 17-month-old son, Declan. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys skiing, paddle boarding, and cycling—always looking for ways to stay active and explore the outdoors. Patrick is excited to be part of the Ryan Auto Mall family and looks forward to helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs.

Dane has been in the Automotive business since 2000 and joined our Ryan family dealerships in 2010. When not at work, head to the lake and you'll find Dane fishing, his favorite pastime.

Jason Neumann joined Ryan Auto Mall in 2025 as a Business Manager, bringing experience in automotive finance since 2021. Before entering the industry, he worked in commercial concrete as a carpenter and foreman. Originally from Illinois, Jason now lives in Buffalo, MN with his wife, two daughters, and a son on the way. Outside of work, he enjoys time on Lake Pulaski, smoking meats, cooking, attending church, and spending time with his two dogs—a Lab and a Bichon Shih Tzu. He’s also a proud Chicago Bears fan.

Brandon joined our team in 2015 from a previous career in the building industry. Away from the service lane, Brandon loves to work on classic cars and enjoys getting outdoors and going duck hunting.

Shane joined our team in 2014, moving from the carpentry trade. He lives in Buffalo and has a love of cars and hanging out with his family.

Blake joined our team as a Quick Lane Service Advisor in July 2024. With 4 years of experience in the automotive industry, Blake brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He is known for his friendly and motivated approach to customer service, ensuring that every customer receives the best possible experience. When not at work, Blake enjoys spending time outdoors, engaging in activities such as hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He also enjoys relaxing with a good movie.

I have lived in Minnesota my entire life. My interest in the Automotive world started while I was young, as my parents owned and operated a driving school in Osseo, where vehicle maintenance was a weekly occurrence. While in college I worked as a private security contractor until transitioning to the firearms industry. After a few years of dealing firearms I was offered an opportunity at Ryan Chrysler of Buffalo in the summer of 2014. While not at work I enjoy fabricating, target shooting, motocross and four-wheeling.

Branden joined our Ryan team in 2023 from a previous career in the construction industry. Time away from helping his customers is spent either on the golf course, playing softball or with his hobbies of woodburning and customizing cars.

Dawn Smith became a valued member of the Ryan team in August 2024, bringing with her an impressive four decades of experience in the automotive industry. Her passion for providing excellent service and her knowledge of automotive parts make her an integral part of our team. Dawn's commitment to precision and customer satisfaction aligns perfectly with Ryan's mission to deliver top-notch service to our community. When she’s not at work, Dawn enjoys sewing, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Her creativity and love for nature reflect her well-rounded and down-to-earth personality, which shines in everything she does.

Brad has been in the Automotive industry since 1989 and with our Ryan Collision Center since 2005. Brad lives in Maple Lake and enjoys his family's many activities including softball, dance and motocross competitions and cross country. He loves the outdoors, camping, boating and snowmobiling. Busy guy!

Mike has been in the Automotive business since 2000 and with the Ryan Collision Center since 2009. He lives in Buffalo and, after work, enjoys watching his three daughters play soccer or joining friends for a round of golf or to watch the Vikings.

Anna joined our Ryan team in 2022 from previous careers in cosmetology and design. She keeps the collision center team organized during the day and enjoys swimming, painting and remodelling in her spare time.

In 1955, my father, Robert Ryan Sr. opened his own used vehicle agency in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, operating as Mid Town Motors. In 1965 he was awarded the Rambler and Mercedes Benz franchises and ultimately was able to obtain the Chrysler & Plymouth franchises. In 1966, my dad opened Ryan Motors in Sioux Falls, South Dakota operating as Ryan Motors Chrysler Plymouth. He was awarded Chrysler's "Pacemakers Top 100 Club Award" from Chrysler for multiple years. In 1971, the Ryan family moved to Texas after selling their automobile interests to Henry and David Billion. David and his son are still in business today. We then moved to Houston and operated Midtown Chrysler Plymouth for one year until Katy Road Chrysler Plymouth, Chrysler's flagship facility opened. In 1975, the Ryan family sold out to the Benson family and returned to the Midwest, where most of the 14 children, 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren reside today. Fifty years later, the Ryan family proudly opened another Chrysler flagship designed facility, for the franchises of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram truck in Buffalo, MN and then soon after, another CDJR dealership in Monticello, MN. Rob is the third generation Ryan to be in the automotive business and our GM for both GM and Chrysler stores. Married with three children, Rob is actively involved with their activities and volunteers much of his other time away from work to many local charitable organizations and events.

Pat, with the last name Ryan, has, of course been in the business since childhood, joining in with the operations side of the family business in 1996. He is a family man and he and his wife have two wonderful daughters and a young son. Away from the office he loves to spend time boating, playing golf and target shooting.

Kristy joined us in August of 2021 as the Controller for the Ryan group of dealerships. Kristy has been in the automotive industry since 1999 and so brought with her a wealth of experience to the Ryan team. Living in Monticello, she enjoys her time away from the office travelling, or at the lake with her family and her dogs.

Marc has been involved with the Automotive industry his whole life and with the Ryan family of dealerships since 1985. Away from the dealership he likes to relax on the lake with his family or enjoy a round of golf.

Ryan Auto Mall is excited to announce the addition of Dan to our team as Pre-Owned Vehicle Director. Dan brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in the automotive industry since 1996. In his new position, Dan will oversee all aspects of our pre-owned vehicle operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service. With his extensive knowledge and leadership skills, Dan will be instrumental in driving our pre-owned vehicle sales and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. He will also be responsible for managing the sales managers at our three dealerships, providing guidance and support. Outside of work, Dan is passionate about fishing and enjoying the great Minnesota outdoors.

Dermott has been in the automotive industry since 1994 and with Ryan since 2009. Originally from England, Dermott now lives in Minnetonka and is married with four daughters. He is also the proud grandparent of three wonderful granddaughters. He enjoys working in a family environment as that is his focus away from the office.
